Theater Updates!!!
Our after-school theater activities are up at running at PMS. Drama club began this week with a great group of students! Drama Club is currently full and is not accepting any additional students.
Please note, Drama Club is NOT the same as the Musical. Kids can participate in Drama Club without any plans to audition for the musical or participate in Tech, AND being in Drama Club does not give kids any extra advantage or automatically sign them up for the Musical.
If your child is interested in AUDITIONING for the musical, here are the audition dates. Due to the HUGE amount of interest in the show this year, no exceptions will made to these dates. If your child cannot make it, they unfortunately cannot audition.
Monday September 30th, 4:05-6:30 (most likely there will be two "waves" of auditions)
ALL 6th graders ANY 7th and 8th graders who haven't been on stage in a PMS production beforeTuesday October 1, 4:05-6:30
All 7th and 8th graders who have been in PMS productions before
Any auditioners from Monday who receive a "call back"
**These two days are only for kids interested in singing, dancing and acting on stage in the MUSICAL Singin' in the Rain, Jr.
A tech information session/interview will not happen until October 21st.**

Technology Guidelines for the 2024-25 School Year!
After careful consideration and research, we have decided to implement “No Personal Technology Guidelines” during the instructional day at our middle schools. Under these new guidelines, students may not use their personal devices (such as cell phones, airpods, bluetooth headphones, smartwatches, etc.) during the instructional day from 9:20 am - 4:05 pm. All students are provided a locker with a lock for storing their personal items. Reasonable accommodations will be made for students with documented medical, IEP or 504 needs.
