Last Day of School Celebration

Last Day of School Celebration

Dear Plymouth Middle School Families,

I can’t believe that we are at the end of the school year. It has been a challenging year, and we would like to end on a positive note.

For the Last Day of School, June 9th, students will come into the building for a day of fun activities. Students have been signing up for exploratory activities, like board games, BINGO, making slime, basketball and a variety of outdoor games. We will be celebrating our 8th grade students as well, with a video, speakers and a special treat. All students will be given an autograph book as well. We encourage students to bring a pen for autographs, refillable water bottle and sunscreen.

Meds at school

Epi-pens and other emergency medications will be sent home on Tuesday, June 8th. Students who come to the building on June 9th will need to carry their epi-pen and inhalers on their person.  Parents can call the school nurse at 763-504-7109 to make arrangements for a parent to pick up the medications if needed.

In-Person Learner Plan

  • Students will take their usual buses, with the same pick-up and drop-off times.

  • Students will be able (and strongly encouraged) to bring in their checked-out devices or library books, if they haven’t already done so.

  • Students sign up for Explore sessions with the link found in Schoology.

Distance Learner Plan

  • We will not be able to provide transportation for DL students, but if a family can provide transportation, DL students will be allowed to come to the building and participate in in-person learning for the day, if they previously signed up.

  • DL students who come to the building for the last day of school will be expected to turn in their Chromebooks and any checked out media materials.

  • For those students who choose to remain DL for the last day of school, there will be online fun activities that match the experience planned for the in-person students.

We would like to thank the parent volunteers for the resources they have provided PMS to have a successful last day of school.
