Robbinsdale Area Schools

Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 - October 15

We believe the diversity in our school is one of our greatest strengths. Each month, we will highlight a culture represented in our schools.

Hispanic Heritage Month starts this week. Students will be invited to create papel picados during advisory.

Papel picado ("perforated paper") is a traditional Mexican decorative craft made by cutting elaborate designs into sheets of tissue paper. Papel picado is considered a Mexican folk art.
