American Indian youth have the opportunity to learn about careers in healthcare, including physicians, dentists, physician assistants, and advanced practice nurses.
At this free event, students age 12-18 will meet with American Indian healthcare providers and receive hands-on experience using healthcare tools and techniques. Students will also learn about paid summer internships available at Hennepin Healthcare.
The event takes place Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the Hennepin Healthcare downtown Clinic and Specialty Center at 715 South 8th St. in Minneapolis. A light breakfast, lunch, and underground parking will be provided.
