As the school year ends, Robbinsdale Area Schools is looking to the district’s future. A series of community engagement activities during the spring of 2024 has culminated in determining the viability of a 10-year extension of a technology and safety and security levy.
The process included a public opinion survey, results of which will be presented to the school board on Tuesday, June 4. Family and staff are currently being surveyed to get their thoughts on the proposed levy. The response to date has been great and we thank those who have already taken time to share their opinions. The survey remains open until Thursday, June 6.
Robbinsdale program directors, principals and cabinet members have been visiting with staff and parent groups to present information and gather feedback about the district’s current financial situation and the implications of approving or not approving the levy.
A report will be provided to the school board to use in determining the final form of the ballot question at a July meeting. Read more.
