All are invited to The Right to Read screening event
Our community is invited to screen a film, The Right to Read, which shares the stories and struggles of an activist, a teacher, and two American families working to help children learn.
Following the film, hear how Rdale is addressing these issues. You’ll leave with ideas and strategies to help your students at home become better readers. Attendees will also learn about the “READ ACT”, the Science of Reading and how it impacts instruction in our classrooms.
The free event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 26 at Robbinsdale Middle School, 3730 Toledo Ave. N., Robbinsdale. A meal from Jimmy Johns will be provided.
Spanish and Somali subtitles will be available.
